Ji Young Lee is an artist based in San Francisco. Designing Ji's website was a creative feast, and I am thrilled to present this project showcasing her incredible talent and creativity to the world. From the initial concept discussions to the final execution, every aspect of this website was carefully crafted to reflect Ji's unique artistic style and vision.
Our collaboration began with understanding Ji's artistic journey and inspirations. Ji requested a site filled with colour and joy, giving me a lot of trust and freedom to design a site that complemented her artwork and also provided a seamless and immersive experience for visitors.
A crucial aspect of the website for Ji was its utility in submissions for residencies, publishers, grants, and elevating her profile. With a diverse array of artwork including paintings, illustrations, books, and more, Ji needed a platform that she could easily edit and expand upon as her portfolio grows.
Behind the scenes, the website is built on a robust and user-friendly platform, ensuring smooth functionality and performance across devices. From responsive design to optimized loading times, every detail was planned to enhance the user experience.
